Las Vegas Nevada is known as the city that never sleeps simply because there is just so much to do. Gambling is very popular but not the only thing to do. The entertainment and shows are the very best. You can see a lot of famous performers and musicians there. The food is inexpensive, sometimes even included in the hotel package, and delicious.
The hotels all have creative and fun themes so it is a blast to just walk up and down the strip and look at everything. On the strip you will see all kinds of unusual people from all walks of life, it will definitely amuse you just looking at them. Many hotels will let you drink alcohol for free if you are gambling there. You can take helicopter rides over the city and they also fly over the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. At night the city lights up like no other. It is a must see destination.

Stop by this fun and friendly restaurant anytime you want to feel like a man. They feature a large variety of chicken wings, everything from fried, baked, hot and spicy to sweet and tangy and some you haven’t even thought of. The selection is amazing and it’s fun to try the different flavors.
They also offer a large variety of beer and other alcoholic beverages, all of which will be served to you by a beautiful woman in a skimpy uniform. It is definitely a man’s restaurant so it is filled with lots of big screen TV’s and you will be able to watch all your favorite sports. They have lots of events scheduled including football parties, car cruises and others. Hooters is a national chain so they have restaurants in many states just look up Hooters in your phone book or online to find one near you.

There is something that is phenomenally creepy about seeing wax versions of people you know should be dead. At Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, that is exactly what you will find. This is kind of a niche thing, because tourists will go here all the time, so it’s pretty crowded most of the time, but, like I said, what guy hasn’t wondered what some of the hottest celebrities would look like up close?
Madame Tussauds has figures of pop cultural icons like the Beatles, Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, the immortal James Dean, and Charlie Chaplin, but also has political figures of note - which is why I was a little unnerved when Hitler started staring at me with Hussein and Yasser Arafat. Madame Tussauds can be pretty cool, though. You can also see current stars such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Paris Hilton.
It’s a little on the pricey side just for crowded rooms full of wax figures, but Madame Tussauds has a certain appeal. You just can’t help but want to get up in the face of the four Beatles sitting on a couch at Madame Tussauds.

Okay, if you’re going to be on a short trip, then there are things you need to pack, must-haves for a weekend getaway. First of all, don’t forget toiletries. As must haves for a weekend getaway go, that is one of the most important. It’s incredibly inconvenient to have to buy a huge bottle of shampoo for, like, a weekend trip to a cabin you own in the middle of nowhere.
Also, for a weekend, must haves for a weekend getaway include games, such as board games or cards, things to do while you’re there that are enough to stop you from being upset on a rainy day, but won’t take you away from the natural appeal of the trip. More must haves for a weekend getaway are your medical supplies. If that means a first aid kit, be sure to pack that, but if it’s something like your medications, then you certainly want that. Don’t forget these must haves for a weekend getaway because you don’t want to try tracking them down later.

I’m a thrillseeker by nature, and personally, one of the best ways to get those thrills is to check out an amusement park. Well, I’m going to say right now that you need to go to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, if you want some thrills. This whole park is completely thematic, which means that you’re walking through areas built like the sets of different films, and Universal Studios does offer some of the best geek-out potential for any film nerds out there. Seriously.
Universal Studios’ appeal is in the fact that the rides are themed after famous films, with the notable exception of “Disaster!,” which is just the 1970’s Charleston Heston film “Earthquake” with a new coat of paint because they realized it was starting to show it’s age. Universal Studios should’ve turned it into Volcano. That would’ve been fun.
Anyway, if you’re a big movie geek and you’d like to live the experience of being in your fave films, then Universal Studios is going to be the place you want to go in Orlando, Florida.

Not much in the world is as predictable as I personally would like it, but Old Faithful Geyser in Calistoga, California is certainly one of them. Old Faithful is just like any other real natural geyser in this world, working on a steady natural clock so that it will erupt every 45 minutes like clockwork. If you’re into hiking, then you should definitely think about a trip to Old Faithful, because there are some amazing views to see while you’re walking around, and since Old Faithful is available to the public, you can be sure to get a decent trip for an affordable price where you will surely enjoy this.
Just know that if you’re looking for something that is incredibly exciting and lasts an incredibly long time, Old Faithful isn’t really that. Old Faithful is something you want to sit around and wait for, then head off to do something else, but it’s a nice trip nonetheless.

Now, the Museum of Historic Torture Devices just SOUNDS like a “Man’s Man” kind of museum. And believe me, it is. From thumbscrews to the different forms of torture by electricity, the Museum of Historic Torture Devices in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin is totally the only kind of museum I would be willing to stop in the middle of a road trip to actually check out.
The Museum of Historic Torture Devices isn’t really all that amazing in its authenticity, I mean, you know it’s wax, but it’s the mere fact that there IS a Museum of Historic Torture Devices that makes my Freaky-gory-stuff-o-meter go all over the place and I just have to go inside. The theme of the place is amazing, because you go from talks about their own serial killer to a much larger theme while you check out torture racks, different Roman torture devices, everything.
The music at the Museum of Historic Torture Devices also uses some freaky music that includes some Pink Floyd and other horror film soundtracks, but the whole Museum of Historic Torture Devices is pretty gimmicky.

There are few things that look as cool as they sound, but the House Inside a Redwood Log is actually a real log cabin that was hollowed out and turned into a house. The House Inside a Redwood Log is held together by quite a few encircling straps of iron, and it’s really an amazing little trip you can take to St. Augustine, Florida. There is a tarp over this House Inside a Redwood Log, but with good reason, because since the house inside a redwood log is so old, it’s begun to leak.
So, a featured item in Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Museum, the house inside a redwood log is truly spectacular and an awful lot of fun to look through. The House Inside a Redwood Log is supposedly over 60 years old and it is a phenomenal little random stop to check out. Seriously must have taken some work.

Ossining in New York state holds a very interesting secret into its past, as its real name is now infamous as having been the same name of one of the worst prisons in American history, and now, they have a museum for it: Sing Sing Prison Museum. Sing Sing Prison Museum is a tribute and painful reminder that Sing Sing, which has gone from being a prison to now actually having tenants. The Sing Sing Prison Museum itself is pretty sterile, though, because the exhibits and items are meant to be a much more clean-cut historic point of view. But, don’t think that Sing Sing Prison Museum is boring. Oh, no. Do a little bit of the reading and it kinda makes you want to go watch a horror film right after.
The Sing Sing Prison Museum is one of those little gems in any city that gets your attention and makes you want to actually check the place out. If nothing else, anyone who’s into history will like it for the fact that the cells are recreated so that you can see. Sing Sing Prison Museum has a pretty interesting past to tell you.

If you’re looking for somewhere that is rowdy and fun, with a culture that is in some ways about fifty times more laid back than you will ever be, then spend a week in London, England. There is a pub on every corner with nothing but good (and bad) beer on tap, and London offers you a nice nightlife.
You can go hopping from pub to pub, but the whole idea is more based on conversation. Also, you can watch the latest sports in just about every place, so that’s a plus. London is a town that looks kind of old and ancient on the outside, what with the architecture and tourist attractions, but it’s got quite a night life when you wouldn’t necessarily think it. So, if fun means going out picking up some hot babes or fun is having a couple of brews at the bar, London has it all.
