As a dad, one of the tougher things to do when travelling with kids is just keeping them entertained. Travelling with kids means that you have to have quite a few activities to keep their attention, or they’re just going to be nothing but trouble. So, one of the simplest ways to do this is to actually come up with little games they can do.

A really good one is to have them send postcards to themselves as you travel. This makes travelling with kids really simple and fun and doesn’t cost a whole lot to keep them occupied. Basically, make the trip one big scavenger hunt. Travelling with kids doesn’t have to be expensive, either, because they could start looking for really interesting rocks or charms or something. There’s anything you can use to keep them occupied while on longer trips. With some sort of game in mind, travelling with kids can be a blast.
