Traveling to London, England

Published by Jack under London, England Edit This

If you’re looking for somewhere that is rowdy and fun, with a culture that is in some ways about fifty times more laid back than you will ever be, then spend a week in London, England. There is a pub on every corner with nothing but good (and bad) beer on tap, and London offers you a nice nightlife.

You can go hopping from pub to pub, but the whole idea is more based on conversation. Also, you can watch the latest sports in just about every place, so that’s a plus. London is a town that looks kind of old and ancient on the outside, what with the architecture and tourist attractions, but it’s got quite a night life when you wouldn’t necessarily think it. So, if fun means going out picking up some hot babes or fun is having a couple of brews at the bar, London has it all.

The London Dungeon, London England

Published by Jack under London, England Edit This

I dunno about you, but it is so hilariously awesome to watch a bunch of kids get the ever loving…. well, you know scared out of them. One of the biggest tourist traps out in London DungeonLondon, England is known as the London Dungeon, and it’s essentially a huge haunted house that takes some of the historical events that have happened to the city’s long and extremely gory past and then turns it into a freakfest. It’s awesome. The London Dungeon isn’t really all that scary as far as attractions go, but, hey, perfect opportunity to make a dude’s girlfriend think he’s awesome. Seriously, the London Dungeon won’t scare you if you’ve got any balls, but, it’s worth going just for the advantage you get.

The London Dungeon is pricey, too, so it’s more of a cheap gimmick to sucker saps into giving money to them, but, hey, it’s worth a laugh.

Looking for Affordable Accommodations in London England? Check out the Park Inn

Published by Jack under London, England Edit This

Park Inn

So, you’re travelling to London, England, and you need somewhere fairly affordable and close to Hyde Park. If your wife is into the tourism thing, then she’s probably gonna want one of those big red buses so you can chill out and enjoy a good beer at the pub. So, take a look at the Park Inn, which is located less than a block from a variety of British pubs with a good selection of beers on tap. The Park Inn is homey in comparison to other places in London, but it looks intentional. The whole place has a very homey woodsy look to it, and the Park Inn’s bar is located right at the lobby. The actual restaurant/bar of the Park Inn has food that tastes pretty good and isn’t a long wait for a lot of frill that doesn’t actually taste like anything.

It’s right by Hyde Park and there are a lot of trails, so if you’re an outdoors kind of person, then the Park Inn is a nice place to stay where it’s right by the park and you can run to your heart’s content.

Going to London, England? The Royal Lancaster is a Great Place to Stay!

Published by Jack under London, England Edit This

Roayl Lancaster Hotel

If you’re travelling to London, England in the future and you’d like amazing service without a lot of fuss, then believe me, you should take a look at the Royal Lancaster, which is right by Hyde Park in London. The Royal Lancaster is very clean, very polished and no-fuss. The Royal Lancaster is a bit on the pricey side, but the hotel makes up for it because the architecture is very nice and gives you the sensation that you’ve just walked into a five-star hotel. Which, y’know, is pretty nice, even if you’re only there to see football.

The food at the Royal Lancaster is pretty good and there is a very high end restaurant down there that actually tries to dress up old British favorites like steak and kidney pie. So, you might be better off talking a brisk walk out of the Royal Lancaster down a block or two to the Victoria pub and restaurant, where you can enjoy a good brew and get to know the locals.
